Diana L Mason
Oct. 7, 1941-Feb. 2, 2024
Pleasanton, California

Diana Lee Morgan Mason, a woman whose vibrant spirit touched each of us in unique and profound ways. Diana lived a life filled with passion, love, and an unwavering commitment to those she held dear. Diana’s life was not merely a sequence of moments; it was a pilgrimage guided by faith, love, and a profound connection with the divine.

Diana was born on October 7, 1941, in San Pedro, CA, and from that moment, she embarked on a journey that would leave an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. She grew up in Southern California, went to Anaheim Union High School where she met John Baker and they later married. Diana and John had a daughter, Catherine Rene Baker in 1959 who they both loved dearly. Diana worked as a dental assistant and later went on to dedicate 25 years to Certified Grocers in the Advertising Department. Her strong work ethic and dedication were evident in every aspect of both her personal and professional life.

Upon retirement, Diana, alongside her then husband Chuck Mason, started a new chapter in their lives and moved to Menifee, CA. Together they embraced the joys of golfing and embarked on adventures around the world. From Menifee, CA, to Prescott, AZ, and eventually settling in Pleasanton in 2009, Diana’s life was a testament to her zest for exploration and her appreciation for the simple joys life had to offer.

Diana was more than a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she was a force of nature who navigated the intricate dance of life with elegance. Her vivacious spirit, infectious smile, fashion sense, and boundless energy could light up any room. She found joy in dancing, reveled in the beauty of music and the arts, and had a deep love for history, animals, and the color red.

Diana’s spiritual compass not only directed her path but radiated through every aspect of her being. Her love for the Lord was reflected in the love she showered upon her family, the kindness she extended to friends, and the generosity she showed to those in need. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her youthful spirit was a source of inspiration for us all.

Diana was 82 years young and passed away with her family by her side, on February 2, 2024.

In her passing, Diana reunites with her husband Charles Billy Mason, her parents Charles Marvin Morgan and Ponchita Lee McCormack Morgan and her brother Raymond Charles Morgan and many other loved ones.
