Diane Lois Scott passed away peacefully at her Pleasanton residence on October 3, 2023. She will be remembered as a kind, caring, generous and very special lady who loved her family and friends. She had the most infectious smile and always a very positive attitude. Diane loved life and did whatever she could to make everyone around her appreciate and love life too.

Diane grew up in Hayward and graduated from Hayward High School. She attended San Jose City College and Chabot College with an emphasis on Early Childhood.

Diane worked for Sunset Designs, Safeway and the Pleasanton School District. She also volunteered many many hours for the Pleasanton Recreation Department. She held a variety of leadership and coaching positions for Girls Softball, Soccer and Basketball. She was also the President of Pleasanton Little League and ran the snack bar and supervised umpires for many years. Diane loved to work with young kids as they always held a special place in her heart.

Diane also ran a Daycare and spoiled her kids with her baking talents especially her Gingerbread Cookies. She treated her kids with so much love and care that they didn’t want to go home. Toys, books, movies, snacks, and big hugs were all part of the fun at Dianes.

She is preceded in death by her oldest son Gregory Scott. She is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey Scott (Pleasanton) and Patrick Scott (Livermore). She has one grandson Riley Scott (Livermore).

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life to be held at The Eagles Lodge 527 North Livermore Avenue on Thursday, October 26th at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. In lieu of flowers please send donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
