Steven Todd Chapman of Pleasanton, CA passed away on February 6, 2024 at the age of 59. Steve was born in Corpus Christi, TX to William "Ronald" and Isabel Chapman (née Gamble) where his father was stationed at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi TX. Steven’s family moved to several military duty stations before settling in Pleasanton, CA in 1971. Steve graduated from Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton, CA before training at the Institute for Business and Technology.

Steve found his career at Belden Consulting Engineers as a CAD and IT manager. He was a talented guitarist and had a passion for performing with the Damn Dirty Apes band at venues in the Bay Area.

Steve is survived by his loving family; wife Tiffany Chapman (née Withers) of Pleasanton, his son Ronald Chapman, his daughter Zoe Chapman-Parish (Trevor Parish) and his siblings, Suzanne Lang (Clifford), and Stuart Chapman (Barbara), brother-in-law George Withers, III. (Stacy Silva-Withers) and his in-laws, George, II and Carol Withers. Steve was a beloved uncle to Jessica (Janelle), Lindsey (Sarah), Emily (Kenneth), Trevor (Jackie), Trenton (Brittany) Kristen (Conor), Haley (Zac) and Charles Chapman. His parents, his stepfather Charles Curry, and his brother, William Scott Chapman (Cindy) preceded him in death.

Steve loved annual family reunions at Pacific Grove, CA, trips to Disneyland and attending heavy metal concerts with his family and friends. Steve’s kindness, humor, fun-loving and upbeat personality will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
