John James Garry, aged 82, passed away on Valentine's Day, 2025. Born on October 10, 1942, in San Francisco, CA, John lived a life full of happiness and kindness.

Growing up as an only child in Burlingame, CA, John overcame a life-threatening heart condition and continued to thrive with the support of his family. John was blessed with two marriages. After the sudden death of his first wife, he joined The Center for Living with Dying, fighting to live on as a widower. Here, he met his new love, Barbara Anzalone.

In Pleasanton, John excelled in his career of selling new homes, often selling out developments in record time and becoming salesperson of the year twice. John was selfless, always putting others first, and finding happiness in making others happy.

John had many passions leading, him to be an avid gardener, car enthusiast, and world traveler. Not a day went by without him tinkering in his backyard, working on his car collection, or exploring his Irish roots.

John is survived by his wife, Barbara Garry and his son, Brandon Garry. A service to honor John’s life will be held Tuesday, February 25th at 11:00 AM at 4167 First Street, Pleasanton, California 94566.
