Our condolences to the Pittl family. We're saddened to hear of Steve's passing. Steve touched so many lives in the very best way. I have many fond memories working with Steve at QI, he was a man of his words and very supportive. RIP Steve. With deepest sympathy, Susan & Goran Domitrovic
Steve & Barb were nearby neighbors when we came to Pleasanton in 1986. We are fellow parishioners at CCOP and watched our children grow up together. Reading Steve's background, it is no wonder I always wished to know him beyond his friendly smile and greeting at Mass. Such a credit to his family, parish, and community. As a military family, his chosen cause was near and dear to us, too. We miss his kind and friendly presence at Mass, already! This good and faithful servant is truly home with his Lord and Savior. Until we meet again, Steve!
We remember Steve as a generous and good friend during our stay in Dayton ( 1966-1969), where he also was goodfather to our son, Ingvar, in his christening ceremony. He will be missed, and we shine peace on his memory. Øystein/ Sandy; Norway
